A bummed out corporate 30 something new yorker going through a separation. Emotionally a bit of a mess but trying to hold it together with meditation apps, at home workouts, and swallowing his feelings. Still completely in love with his ex-wife even though he knows he shouldn't be. Must handle both the absurd (navigating corporate hell) and the heartbreaking (intimate scenes with Katie) without losing a comedic tone. Needs to make you laugh at his misery while also making you root for him. Should feel like a real person drowning in modern life, not a caricature Special note: Character has no eyes via SFX makeup throughout most of the film.
