**Need improv skills. Think "Funny or Die." Marci is well-meaning, and slightly out of her depth. She wants to be a “good” parent and a good person, but she hasn’t memorized the latest language or rules around modern parenting, and that makes her vulnerable. She leads with kindness, then panic-corrects when she realizes she’s stepped on a landmine. Marci represents the anxious middle ground: thoughtful, loving, imperfect, and still trusting her gut even when she’s not sure it’s allowed. Comedically, she plays sincerity and social discomfort rather than jokes.
