We’re looking for actors capable of subtle, naturalistic performances. People you’d cast in an A24 horror film. The performances need to carry paranoia without exaggeration. The feeling that something bad is about to happen. The characters must feel credible and relatable. They should feel like someone the audience could be, not someone distant or stylized. Character Description: Grounded and self-assured. She favors creativity over conforming. She’s intentional in the way she styles herself and her space. The one unintentional thing about her? Her nicotine addiction. At first, she appears calm and in control. When she becomes a human test subject, her composure fractures. She’s the victim — vulnerable and scared. She’s someone you want to protect. Through her eyes alone, she conveys a fear so raw it’s difficult to watch.
