Through years of existing in the community as a hard-working owner of a candy store, he’s ingrained himself as a trustworthy, compassionate man. Throughout his life, one thing has remained constant, he’s always had children around him. The same children who grew up being given free candy would frequent his house later on in their teenage lives for drunk, drug-fueled parties. Dean always knew how to create a situation where people were vulnerable. Desperate for a sense of male companionship, Dean values his relationship with Wayne, his primary accomplice in the murders they commit.
