The reason there is a request that you read it because this is not a simple 'film and go' project** Its as continuing story full of twists and turns. In episode one you will see the character in the throes of grief. I will grow the story based on the actor that is cast. I will find their center and build around it. I will push the actor. I want I want the character to have the 'essence and beyond' of the person cast. I want to take the actor above their limits and bring them back down to earth for a layered performance. I want the actor's footprint to be in the foundation of the project. This is one way you build and separate yourself from the pack. I do think being a nice guy/director in this business is a hindrance. Seems people respect the stoic forceful people and they don't take the fun ones seriously. Regardless, gotta have a sense of fun
