About the Job

Nate is a college student arriving home on break. He is open, warm, and genuinely happy to be back with his family, especially his little brother, who he as a major soft spot for. He has an easy confidence that comes from growing up supported, and carries himself with a relaxed, unforced presence. He should feel like a real young Californian at the start of adulthood: independent, grounded, and emotionally available. There’s a hint that he’s been away at school: his look is slightly scruffier, a bit lived-in, not overly styled. Think comfortable rather than polished. His energy is natural and unshowy; joy shows up through familiarity and ease rather than heightened reaction. Strong, believable chemistry with both his mother and younger brother is essential. Appearance must work believably as son/brother.
