Max

Mr. Right

About the Job

Mail Room Clerk- Booker Wright, affectionately called Max, is the youngest child of Booker Sr. and Rosalind, with an older brother, Ryan, and a middle sister, Charlotte. From a young age, Max was rambunctious, inquisitive, and full of ambition. As his father’s namesake, he was often accused of being the favorite, but Max earned that attention through his good nature, obedience, and willingness to take guidance from his father. Growing up, Max watched his father transition from a real estate agent to a successful developer, turning Wright Enterprises into a thriving corporation with corporate and luxury buildings across Los Angeles. Inspired by his father’s success and unconventional approach to business, Max became his father’s biggest supporter. After high school, Max attended Harvard Business School, graduating with honors. He then spent a few years at Goldman Sachs, but the intense corporate grind left him bored and craving a more meaningful path. Wanting to contribute to the family legacy, he approached his father about joining Wright Enterprises.True to his father’s unconventional style, Booker Sr. insisted that Max start at the bottom—in the mailroom—learning the business from the ground up. Trusting his father’s wisdom, Max eagerly embraced the opportunity, viewing it as a chance to learn firsthand the ins and outs of the company while taking a break from the high-pressure finance world. To avoid judgment and favoritism, Max introduced himself to colleagues under his middle name, keeping his identity as Booker Wright Jr. a secret. Donning his Jordans instead of loafers, he dove into the mailroom, ready to prove himself on merit and gain a true understanding of the business that had fascinated him since childhood. Key Traits: Respectful, humble, observant, intelligent, disciplined, strategic, grounded. Arc: While working anonymously, he meets London and forms a genuine connection based on honesty, humility, and integrity
