About the Job
Zaylen is a founding member of HEATWAVE and the quiet stabilizer of the group. He and Isaiah started the band together, long before money, attention, or outside pressure entered the picture. Because of that history, Zaylen understands Isaiah’s ego, insecurity, and need for control better than anyone else. Where Isaiah leads HEATWAVE with dominance and image, Zaylen leads with patience and loyalty. He’s observant, emotionally aware, and often steps in to smooth over conflict before it explodes. Zaylen isn’t blind to Isaiah’s behavior — he sees it clearly — but he believes the band is worth holding together, even at a personal cost. Zaylen genuinely cares about HEATWAVE as a group, not just as a career move. He believes in the music and the idea of them rising together, which makes him the emotional backbone of the band. as the expendable one.
