About the Job
The role of The BEAST is all about a misdirect. When the door opens, you’re expecting this ferocious thing capable of world destruction, but in reality he/she is just a fragile looking admin person who's more of a coding beast, than a monster. The desired effect of his/her unassuming look must be at odds with our expectation when we hear and think ‘BEAST’ (i.e very thin or frail looking) So we’re looking to cast a 25-34 yr old female or male with an interesting and likable look. A face and frame incapable of having this name or destroying anybody in their path. The Beast is in name only. In reality, the Beast is feeble and mild mannered. So, don’t attempt to be a beast. Instead, you’re nervous to show up to work every day. Play it straight, don’t go for laughs. Personality: YOUNG, MUTE, CODER TYPE THAT IS NEVER NOT ON A COMPUTER. KINDA LIKE THE INTERN. HE’S LIKE A BEAST AT HACKING, IF ANYTHING. The comedy in this lives somewhere in the universe of Tim Robinson, I Think You Should Leave, and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!
