BIRTHDAY CLOWN – Male, ages 25–50 **please note any clown experience* (Not necessary, since you will not be a great clown :) ) Qualities: Great comic timing Subtle physical comedy Expressive face + body language Ability to be funny without talking (spots may shoot MOS) Scene Description: A nervous, slightly untalented birthday clown attempts to make a balloon animal. Nearly every time he twists the “balloon,” it pops, startling him. After several failed attempts, he hands the child a droopy, sad, mostly‑destroyed balloon animal, hoping they won’t notice how terrible it is. Tone: awkward, sweet, earnest, physical comedy.
