Fiance
About the Job
The Fiance is an outsider to the family, desperately trying to fit in and be liked. The most “normal” of the family, he is nervous, insecure, slightly pathetic, and constantly seeking validation. The Fiance provides comic relief through odd monologues, He is later revealed as someone capable of torturous behavior towards others. In the film he represents someone who mirrors the person they love without questioning their morals first; someone normal who slides into atrocity through compliance.
