NOTE: Please read carefully before applying. This is not a scripted project seeking actors to portray a role — we’re looking for real people who have relatives living a traditional, off-grid lifestyle. Do you have family members or relatives who’ve decided to move and live completely off the grid: leaving behind modern conveniences to return to a more traditional, simpler, self-sustaining way of life? In turn, do you live in the city/suburb and lead a modern lifestyle but find yourself curious about joining your off-grid relatives? Does the idea of slowing down and returning to a simpler way of life intrigue you, even if it feels completely outside your comfort zone? An acclaimed television production company in cooperation with a major cable network is looking for both an off-grid family living sustainably in a traditional, old-school way, and their modern relatives who are curious about experiencing off-grid life. If you or someone you know fits the bill, we want to hear from you! This is an opportunity to share the real journey of off-grid life, the ups and downs, challenges, and triumphs. Selected participants are compensated and will star in their own series on a major cable network.
