About the Job
A once-iconic Hollywood producer and director — eloquent, witty, seemingly cultured. On the surface, he’s the charming relic of “the golden age.” In truth, he’s manipulative, entitled, and corrupted by decades of unchecked power, especially when it comes to women. Would have been destroyed by “MeToo” movement. Refined but slightly decayed. Expensive taste, but everything about him feels icky — the kind of man who still believes his charm and power is currency. Disguises vice as mentorship. Fluent in compliments, anecdotes, and empathy — all rehearsed. Behind the warmth lies deep cynicism and lust for control. He enjoys testing moral boundaries more than physical seduction. Johnis the system personified not monstrous by accident but by habit. His self- justification (“everyone does it”) is his last line of defense.
