Performance Lookalike– Live Art Installation

About the Job

We are seeking a female performer in a live, one-evening art installation inspired by Marina Abramovic’s 2010 performance, The Artist Is Present. This role requires the performer to sit quietly and mostly motionless across from gallery visitors while maintaining focus and calm composure. The performer’s physical presence, subtle gestures, and endurance create the heart of the piece — offering visitors an intimate, contemplative encounter with the artwork. Lead Role Rate: $1,350/Project + Agency Fee Physical Description: Average height, medium to solid build — grounded, steady presence rather than delicate. Preferably dark brown to black hair—length can range from shoulder to mid-back, fair to medium complexion, expressive eyes. *Prior performance art or movement experience is a plus but not mandatory.
