About the Job

Kasia is the light of Es & Flo: she is not the future they feared, but the one they fought for. Lively, funny, and disarmingly wise, she moves through the story with the confidence of someone who assumes kindness is a given. The daughter of Beata, she bridges her mother’s world of care with the one Es and Flo built in resistance, bringing them together through curiosity and joy. Her friendship with Es is full of mischief and meaning - shared stories, stolen sweets, laughter that turns fear into tenderness. Her presence becomes the link between past and future, protest and peace. This is a role of radiant subtlety and power, offering a young actor the chance to embody innocence as activism and to show how love’s future is written by those brave enough to imagine it. Accent: Standard English; Welsh influence desirable (accent work will be supported by an accent and vocal coach) If Kasia is cast with a performer under 15, Mi Todo Productions will obtain the required SafeWork NSW Authority to Employ Children in Entertainment and will follow all relevant supervision, schooling, and hour-of-work requirements. For performers aged 15–17, Mi Todo will apply equivalent wellbeing standards and duty-of-care practices, ensuring rehearsals are age-appropriate and a parent/guardian is present whenever requested. If the performer cast as Kasia is under 18: - all adult cast and creatives will be required to hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check. - we will cast 2 Kasia's, who will perform in half the shows each, and the fee of $1000-$1200 will be split evenly between the 2 successful actors.
