About the Job
LOOKING FOR: Dynamic, engaging dancers with professional performing experience who can quickly learn fusion choreography with country line dance x hip-hop dance. 6 women and 2 men preferred. Dancers should be skilled in one or more of the following: Country Line Dancing, Hip-Hop Dance, or Jazz Dance. All dancers must be 18 years of age minimum (no minors). The choreography will be a mash-up of country line dancing, hip-hop dance, hip-hop social dance moves from all eras (smeeze, sturdy, smurf, etc), and booty-shaking "lite" (think family-friendly) The song is "Get Ready" by Pitbull and Blake Shelton. Look up the "Get Ready" official music video for visual reference. Performers are expected to do their own hair and make-up to a camera-ready standard for the performance. Performers are expected to provide some costume items including denim (blue) short shorts with tights for women and denim (blue) jeans and flannel shirts for men. Hard Rock will provide black crop tops for women and black cowboy boots and cowboy hats for all performers. Note that Hard Rock Casino Tejon is located 80 miles north of Los Angeles. Performers are expected to provide their own transportation, at their own expense, to and from the casino on Weds Nov 12th for the dress rehearsal and Thurs Nov 13th for the performance.
