About the Job
Nate is early 40s, bookish, attractive, creative, a bit disheveled, a great raconteur. When he describes himself being the hero of his own action movie, he should be a somewhat unlikely hero - so there’s a tension between him and how he imagines himself. Like a John Krasinski type - Krasinksi never quite pulls off being a full on action hero - there’s always a shadow of The Office. Nate is more of a romantic comedy type than an action hero type. More Hugh Grant than Vin Diesel! As a casting reference, he could be Adam Driver, Michael Cera, Andrew Garfield, Paul Mescal, a young Will Ferrell or a young Steve Carrell. We are ideally looking for fi-core talent with strong credits. Tom would love to see people with a strong theater background, film, Television, and or great improv skills. MUST HAVE A VALID PASSPORT - that is valid for at least the next 6 months.
