Izzy is a midwife who is also trying to get pregnant. She and her wife, Shanae, have been trying for some time with no success. Izzy is kind, energetic, more than a little obsessive when she has a goal, and a bit anxious. She believes her ancestors watch over, guide, and help her, and she prays to them regularly. Izzy is deeply spiritual and just a bit witchy. She doesn't subscribe to one specific religious system, but she participates in various practices that resonate with her. She and Shanae are very lovey and always together - kind of the couple that makes everyone want to barf. Izzy can have any body type. Her style is very bohemian. Notes: Izzy shares a few kisses with her wife, Shanae, throughout the film, ranging from pecks on the cheek/lips to one deep kiss. Izzy is a midwife and can be played by an actress with physical disabilities who is able to perform actions like catching a baby, helping a birthing woman change positions, etc. Izzy also has one scene where she is studying her breasts in the mirror. There is no on-screen nudity, and the actress would wear a strapless top for filming.
