One of Don Zavetta’s many deputies on the payroll a quiet, no nonsense enforcer who knows better than to ask questions. In his early forties, he’s built like a ranch hand and moves with the calm precision of a man who’s seen his share of bad situations. Claudio’s the kind who doesn’t talk much, but when he does, people listen. Unlike some of his colleagues, Claudio isn’t in it for the thrill or the violence. He’s in it for stability the money, the steady work, and the sense of belonging that comes with being part of something powerful, even if that “something” is a criminal machine run by Don Zavetta, the cartel boss who pulls all the strings. Claudio’s current mission is the same as the others: find Donovan, a target Zavetta wants brought in or worse. Claudio doesn’t know why, and he doesn’t care to. In his mind, the less he knows, the longer he lives. He operates like a soldier: disciplined, efficient, loyal to whoever signs his checks. But under the hardened exterior, there’s a trace of unease a faint voice reminding him that he once joined law enforcement to protect people, not hunt them.
