Looking for a comedic actor to play a small-town Sheriff who’s all misplaced confidence and fading charm. Think former high school golden boy turned clueless lawman - sun-worn, slightly outdated, and hilariously out of his depth when real chaos hits. Character Vibe: Lovably clueless, not a caricature. He’s not very sharp, but he doesn’t know that and that’s where the comedy lives. Casual to a fault, with the energy of a dad who thinks he’s still cool. Performance Notes: We’re looking for an actor with strong comedic instincts; someone who can play earnest stupidity without it feeling mean-spirited. His humor should come from his misplaced confidence and accidental charm. Think “lovably clueless,” not a caricature.
