Seeking inspiring stories of people that has a MUSIC tie in. We’re seeking everyday Americans with inspiring stories of resilience, transformation, and hope—stories that span the country, from the West Coast to the East, and everywhere in between. Whether you’re a farmer, teacher, firefighter, work in tech, single parent, home health care provider, or someone making an impact in your community, your story matters. Anchored in the music that we share throughout our days and lives—from singing happy birthday to jamming with friends to dancing to a roadhouse band—the film explores what connects us as Americans, magnifying our shared ideals while honoring the rich, eccentric differences that compose our national anthem. Each story offers a glimpse into a unique American experience, while also reminding us of what we share in common. The result is a portrait of the U.S. that’s messy, soulful, and deeply human—where differences are honored and music becomes the common language that brings us home. Leave a note with a few sentences about your story. Music will be a unifying theme in this project, so it is a bonus if music plays a part in your life in any way, big or small.
