Pat Cummins is his hero, and he has studied every frame of Cummins’ run-up until he can copy it perfectly. If only he brought that same focus to his chores at home. His mum, today’s umpire, lifts an eyebrow at his over-the-top “How’s that!”, already knowing the dishes will still be waiting for him after the game.
