Inspired by Renate Reinsve's role in "The Worst Person in the World," she should show quiet strength, playful wit, and real vulnerability. There’s a deep self-knowing, a quiet confidence, to her. Natalie is structured, precise, and wellness-focused in her career and long-term relationship, but a year on hormonal birth control has disconnected her from her body, causing overwhelm. The actress must portray emotional shifts: Act 1's anxious chaos (sensory overload, frustrations like spills); Act 2's relief as she stops the pills and finds her rhythm; Act 3's confident ease using the Natural Cycles app. Prefer experience in health/wellness or natural cycle tracking for authenticity. Open to trained actors or non-actors who deliver raw, improvisational humor, tenderness, and growth. She should make Natalie feel like a close friend, fitting the film's natural style.
