About the Job
Please submit your best actors here. Improv is a MUST for this role.
Talent needs to be comfortable with running a short distance on set.
The Adjuster is a man who looks like life has been catching up to him. A little soft around the middle, with a face that shows years of bad sleep and maybe a few too many stress meals (can of course be aided by make-up). Not Hollywood-polished, but real. He’s the type who tries to smooth-talk his way out of anything: a forced grin, greasy charm, quick to promise the world with nothing behind it.
What makes him funny is the way his false confidence collapses under pressure. He enters a scene puffed-up and self-assured, but the second The Brand Heroes confront him, the mask slips — the grin twitches, the voice cracks, the sweat shows. He should come across as both believable and pathetic, like the audience has met this guy before: the hustler at the car lot, the neighbor who swears he “knows a guy.”
