About the Job

Golf Coach

Golf Daddy Project: Golf Coach

Phoenix Denver Los Angeles San Diego Dallas Austin

About the Job

In this role, you will play a golf coach who is giving feedback to a student via a video message. Appearance wise we are looking for someone who looks fit and gives off an authoritative look. Like a fitness trainer or Peloton instructor.

Script starts here:
(Welcoming, inviting tone)
“Paul, great work lately, you’ve been flying through the drills; congratulations, it’s time to move onto your next module as your P3 is looking great.”
(Transitioning, a bit more serious)
“I’ve done another evaluation of your swing and decided to focus on P4, which is the top of your backswing.”
(A bit closer to the phone, providing detailed analysis, focused)
“In my analysis today I’ve identified two key things: firstly, you’re ending this position across the line, which means that your club head is wrapping around your head. Secondly, your hands aren’t moving around your body enough. We’ll focus purely on the hand depth today. Your hands are not wrapping around your body enough — I’m seeing them still above your trail foot, whereas they should be above your butt. This may be caused by a feeling of lifting your hands vertically instead of rotating around your torso, and will result in inconsistent striking.”
(Relieved, excited)
“I’m going to assign you a drill that I think can help with this. Take a bunch of practice swings with this in mind and let’s see what that does for you. Great work lately, and have a good one!”
