About the Job
Cass is a sharp-tongued receptionist with a vape habit, a petty streak, and a head full of conspiracy theories she half believes. After a breakup leaves her exes blissfully ensnared in a sapphic wellness cult, Cass infiltrates the group with plans to expose it ...or at least roast it in a chat with her bestie, Tash. But rituals have a way of getting under your skin, and Cass finds herself caught between suspicion, desire, and the kind of healing that hurts first. She doesn’t trust anyone, least of all herself, but she still wants to believe. She’s funny because she’s terrified. And she’s about to become the very thing she came to destroy.
