About the Job

Josephine is a brilliant, sadistic, fiercely ambitious superhuman whose calm authority is more frightening than open rage. She controls metal and magnetic fields, dominates minds, becomes invisible, and generates force fields. A cancer survivor, she remains in remission because her powers continually suppress the disease. She may also wear wigs as part of her presentation. Her baldness is never played as frailty; it strengthens her distinctive and formidable presence. Seeking an actress with intelligence, emotional precision, controlled menace, and the ability to dominate a room through stillness, voice, and eye contact. She should feel regal and dangerous without becoming exaggerated or theatrical. CASTING NOTES Must be comfortable appearing fully bald on camera. Naturally bald, shaved or close-cropped hair, bald-cap work, and wigs are all acceptable. No head shaving is required unless separately agreed upon. Strong dramatic presence required. Action and VFX-performance experience is a plus.
