What’s Casting: Emuaid, Pooof! By Dr. Dorfman, Law Bear, Grüns and More

• Lead: A millennial-aged woman with a bit of an attitude. She’s charismatic, humorous, and yeah, maybe a little annoyed that she has to be here. But she does have a thing for Emuaid.

Roles being cast:

• Pooof! Fairy: A short, round man wearing spandex and giant fairy wings (think Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel.) He’s intelligent, playful, and a little cheeky.
• Woman: A traditionally attractive woman who magically appears in our subject character’s bathroom. She is flirtatious and attracted to the Guy’s Pooof!-white smile.
• Guy: An average joe, frustrated after trying numerous teeth whitening products that just don’t work. Despite all the fails, he’s optimistic he’ll find the right product, especially after he sees the magical Pooof! Fairy.

Roles being cast:

• Attorney: A versatile comedic performer who portrays the good, bad and cheesy lawyers, adding humor and depth to the unfolding drama. Able to play multiple clearly distinct types of people – bonus points if able to do different voices for each.
• Law Bear VO: Looking for a deep, resonant voice, a “Most Interesting Man in the World” type; cool, confident, smooth, and welcoming – but also able to land comedic timing and humorous tone where appropriate.
• Victim: A man in his 30s, frustrated and distressed after a recent vehicle crash that was no fault of his own, struggles to find the help he needs until Law Bear comes to his aid.

• Janet: Wants to be consistent but doesn’t really know where to start. She needs to have the range necessary to seem more nervous or unsure of herself at the start of the video and then be incredibly enthusiastic or confident by the end of the video once she’s had Grüns.
• Gary: Someone who works out and prioritizes fitness, a total gym bro. He doesn’t believe that a product can actually help you get gains and taste good.
• Coach Barry: Friendly and helpful but carries with him a dry, comedic sarcasm that juxtaposes his overly cheery exterior. He’s knowledgeable about health and wellness and confidently presents information in a clear/persuasive manner. Think Mean Girls gym teacher scene where he stands at the white board.

• Female Print Model: Youthful, adventurous and chic vibe. Fit, lean build, easy going, diversity encouraged.
• Male Print Model: Same specs as Female Print Model

• Lead: A light hearted, folksy, quirky “QVC- style” host who’s having a great time hosting. She laughs at her own jokes, which are barely even jokes. She feels like a character that Kristen Wiig might play, in that she’s ironically funny. A dash of mom vibes with a character-y look but well put together.
