The winners of the 77th Emmy Awards have now been announced at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The annual ceremony, which celebrates the best in primetime television, was a night of monumental achievements, emotional speeches and significant, record-breaking wins.

The night’s biggest winner was Apple TV+’s The Studio, which set a new record for the most-awarded comedy series. The Hollywood satire claimed a total of 13 Emmys – a combined haul from the main ceremony and the earlier Creative Arts Emmys, which recognise technical and creative achievements like cinematography, editing and costume design. These wins include awards for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor for Seth Rogen, who also picked up prizes for his writing and directing work.

Netflix’s Adolescence also made a massive impact, securing six wins on the night and sweeping every category it was nominated for, while the critically acclaimed Severance received a total of eight Emmys across both ceremonies. HBO Max’s The Pitt also saw success on the night, taking home four awards, including Outstanding Drama Series.
