Character portrayed is male, White, 18+ to play 14–16. David is the younger version of our lead. Strong physical presence, carrying both menace and innocence. A wiry, troubled youth from the San Fernando Valley, he grew up in a broken home marked by neglect, an absent father, and a drug-addicted mother. He took on the caretaker role for his siblings and was pulled into gang life as a means of survival. Longing for love through risk, his choices lead him down a tragic path. At 16, David “Lonely” Smith is sentenced to life in prison for murder.
