Our DAD should feel approachable and relatable, like a loving father to everyone.He loves making his family smile, potentially has some facial hair but is well groomed. Loves soccer and is fit enough to play – but soft enough for big bear hugs.
MOM is the captain of the ship – leading with love, style, and boundless energy. At home, she’s the planner of the family, determined to make everything
perfect. With a massive smile, her eyes are always locked on her family’s faces – as she experiences the world through them.
The DAUGHTERS should share a natural connection and some sisterly resemblance. Angie, the youngest, is full of energy and curiosity while Elisa, her older sister, dresses more maturely, reflecting her sense of
responsibility as the dependable one.
This isn’t your typical ABUELA. She’s confident, elegant, stylish, and always knows what to say (and how to wear her slicked back hair in a perfect bun). We want to break the traditional ‘abuelita’ mold and reimagine her as modern, eclectic, and unapologetically cool. But still as warm as ever.
Most importantly, we want to avoid stereotypes and keep it authentic to the Hispanic experience – specifically reflecting a Caribbean Hispanic family, as this more accurately represents the Hispanic population that visits Walt Disney World, rather than leaning into Mexican-American casting.
