About the Job
**MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH. Spanish dialect should be as neutral as possible since our audience is the entire state of NY. Need for clarity, comedy, improv ability and speed for Spanish. Our field reporter is serious, slightly sarcastic, and perpetually frustrated but committed to reporting the obvious. Channeling the comedic energy of Ollie Williams (Family Guy), SNL's Weekend Update, or Perd Hapley (parks and rec)-he delivers reports on the dramatic weather he's experiencing gravely and with resignation. The humor comes from his attempt to maintain professionalism while literally standing in the storm, and the ridiculousness of reporting the obvious.
