We're seeking one actor (male or female) Latine identifying for this innovative, autobiographical one-person show by Brian Quijada. The role demands dynamic storytelling with a fusion of rap, hip-hop, spoken word, and live vocal looping - capturing a child's innocence and an adult's introspective journey.
Performance style and skills:
-Strong acting and vocal abilities (singing, rhythmic rap/spoken word)
-Plays instruments. i.e. one or more of- guitar, piano, horn, etc.
-Comfortable with live looping or quick adaptability to looping technology.
-Skilled performer with comedic timing and emotional range.
-Physical and vocal stamina to sustain a 90-minute solo performance
