About the Job

Male. White. Mid 20s. Rugged on the outside, tender on the inside. A charming, blue-collar guy who works at a factory manufacturing fuel cells for alien ships—but he longs for more. Madly in love with his wife, Emily, he’s determined to prove to her middle-class family that he’s good enough to be chosen as a host for a Saccoven child. But his menial job and trailer-park background stand in his way—for now. (This character will have to wear prosthetics in some parts of the script.) LEAD ROLE. (OPEN TO WHITE MALE-IDENTIFYING TALENT AGE 20-35 FROM ANYWHERE IN THE USA. Non-American talent must already have working papers/visa and must be able to do a general American accent.)
