Our sourdough specialist is obsessed with breadmaking. (We all know one of these folks post-covid). She wakes up in the morning dreaming about the perfect crust, and falls asleep at night pondering the deep mysteries of fermentation.
Importantly, her devotion to the craft isn’t an annoying fixation - it’s a charming eccentricity. It’s what makes us root for her. And hey, if she’s more focused on baking than retirement… it’s totally understandable.
Less is more with this character - she should never dip into slapstick caricature. Natural warmth and a strong sense of comedic timing are musts. The ability to comfortably riff and ad-lib is a huge bonus as well.
