The Farm Stand clerk has a magic trick. He or She can take any number of fruits, vegetables or small quantities of other ingredients from the farm stand. They put this seemingly endless amount of ingredients into a bag. A moment later, out of that bag, they pull out a small bottle of already mixed vitamin supplements (looks like green juice) – 75 ingredients into one.
We're seeking a charismatic, grounded individual to portray a farm stand clerk with a charming, farmer-next-door vibe. This character is warm, approachable, and radiates a genuine passion for nature, nourishment, and conversation. They should feel authentically rural in demeanor. Think overalls, sun-kissed skin, and the kind of person who knows their soil, but when they speak, they surprise you with unexpected scientific eloquence. They can rattle off nutrient profiles, cellular processes, and mineral facts with the same ease they describe how to pickle a beet.
This character thrives on connection. They're upbeat, welcoming, and make every passerby feel like a neighbor. They go the extra mile to ensure everyone leaves a little more informed, and possibly a little more confused, in a good way, about what just went into their smoothie.
We're especially looking for someone comfortable with improvised, quick-witted dialogue and playful banter with real people on the street. You should be able to confidently deliver (and have fun with) scientific facts while staying in character as a quirky farm stand expert.
