About the Job

An Iowa farmer, ex-hippie, and baseball fanatic. Ray was raised by a single father whom he had a strained relationship with. Currently he lives on a small, financially struggling farm with his wife and young daughter (both of whom he loves dearly). Ray’s life is turned upside down after a mysterious voice in the cornfields tells him to build a baseball diamond on his farm. After building the field he’s visited by the ghost of “Shoeless” Joe Jackson, which launches him on a quest to rebuild the 1919 White Sox by completing various charitable tasks for the voice.
