About the Job
Every actor in this one-act play will play two (2) roles. Most roles are of either an incarcerated individual or of a detention officer. This character is open to a wide range of ethnicities and should be in his mid to late forties. The part of POET #1 leads off the play with a poem that tells how he has found God during his time behind bars. While the second role of MAN tells the short story of how his incarceration has affected his mental health, but through the various programs offered to him, he looks forward to returning to society once again.
