About the Job
OCP: PATIENT MALE OR NON BINARY, AGE 30-40, ANY ETHNICITY, REGULAR LOOKING PERSON WITH NO STRIKING FACIAL FEATURES. GREAT COMEDIC TIMING. Role: The patient who stumbles into the ER finds themselves in a financial conversation while seeking help for a related, or unrelated, but always hilarious, issue. They serve as the perfect stand-in for the average person, relatable, and full of questions that open the door to explaining SoFi’s products in an approachable way. What They Offer: The patients provide the comedic entry point into the sketch’s financial theme. Through their misunderstandings, questions, or insights, they help explain acronyms, financial concepts, and SoFi offerings. Their honest confusion or quirky perspective creates space for real learning, laughs, and clarity. Patient casting spec: Male or nonbinary, age 30-40, any ethnicity. This person will represent a range of different patients with different “ailments,” so they’ll need range in both their performance and their looks. They should look fairly “regular” with no striking facial features. Great comedic timing.
