About the Job
Michael Benjamin Stern is a unemployed 25 years old. He wasn’t a brilliant student in school, te
teachers use to tell him that he was too lazy, and that he wouldn’t accomplish anything. He barely
made it through high school and didn’t even apply to college. That really made him suffer because
the reality was that he was just struggling.
After the passing of his mother, the only person who believed in him, he started developing
anxiety and depression, he usually doesn’t leave his apartment. Mike sees himself as somebody
who has never accomplished something and is not capable of doing anything. That’s why he’s so
busy looking for a shortcut to success. He has a sister, Carla, who really cares about him but to
Mike, she represents everything he will never be.
