Jordan works hard and wants the best for his family, but struggles to make it work day after day. He's had challenges with substances, but keeps trying to get and stay sober. He had a hard childhood, but doesn't think about it much anymore. He got married young, and his relationship with Jennifer has been fraught with volatility and arguments. The stress of fatherhood hasn't been easy to shoulder. In general, he feels like he doesn't know what he's doing as a parent.
