About the Job

Every actor in this one-act play will play two (2) roles. Most roles are of either an incarcerated individual or of a detention officer. This character should appear to be in her mid thirties to mid forties. The first role is JANET, a criminally insane inmate who has been strapped to a chair for her outward bursts of anger. She slowly becomes sane and tells her story to the audience in a heartfelt tale. The second character is ANGEL #2, who assists ANGEL #1 in taking an elderly prisoner, who has just passed, to the gates of Heaven.
