HUNTER (14 years old, freshman, Black American, LEAD) - Hunter is the quintessential nerd that wants to fit in. Growing up as an only child with disabilities always singled him out, making him pretty lonely. Due to his struggles from his childhood, he’s always trying to push himself out of his comfort zone to prove he can do what all the other kids can do. He wants to be able to keep up on the outdoor education trip, even though he probably could get a doctor’s note to get out of it. He has a not-so-secret crush on Cleo, who he has been in the same class with since kindergarten. He’s a natural leader and extremely kind, which often leads to conflict with his classmates.
