Description: We are casting a warm, expressive grandmother in her late 70s–80s for a short branded video project. The role involves arriving at a home setting and being joyfully surprised by your own 80th birthday celebration. She’s deeply touched that her whole family came together to celebrate a pivotal milestone in her life. The character will interact lovingly with her adult grandchildren, who present a meal they prepared for her, give her a handmade card, and they teach her how to play various games on a cutting-edge device. They end the celebration by dancing the night away on the back patio. The grandmother should bring authenticity, warmth, and a natural presence on screen—with the addition of a lively competitive spirit for the gaming portion. Prior acting experience is a plus, but real personality and relatability are key. Requirements: Female-identifying, age range 70s–80s. Hispanic, Southeast Asian, or Indian ethnicity preferred. Comfortable on camera and with light direction. Able to convey joy, surprise, familial warmth and a competitive spirit in a naturalistic style. Open to interacting with props (birthday cake, dinner, presents, video game device, etc.).
