Early 19th-century German male, 30–50, working-class craftsman with a weathered, kind face and practical demeanor. Recreation role for a historical docuseries (Expedition Files – Discovery Channel, MAX).* Portrays the shoemaker who discovers Kaspar Hauser wandering the streets of Nuremberg in 1828 and takes him to the authorities. A humble tradesman — compassionate but cautious — who becomes the first to realize Kaspar’s strange, childlike condition. Must convey curiosity and concern through authentic, grounded expression; minimal dialogue. Appearance: Fair to medium complexion, average build, expressive face showing years of labor. Hair: brown or dark blond, short to medium length. Facial hair: light stubble or trimmed mustache acceptable. Performance tone: sincere, grounded, empathetic — quietly observant and humane.
