We are casting 3 female roles: BRENDA: Brenda is filled with a boundless enthusiasm, mixed with a quiet introvert's observational skills and an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Mr. Performance. She's the kind of person who quotes Mr. Performance in casual conversation and genuinely believes his wisdom can solve any problem. She's not creepy about her fandom, just deeply, genuinely inspired by his approach to life and work. She is the lens through which we understand Mr. Performance even more: he’s not a weirdo, he’s a weird hero. NEEDS: Strong comedic timing Improv training a plus Genuine warmth and sincerity Should be telegenic, but relatable "every person" quality TANYA: The people who inhabit Mr. Performances office are all quite familiar with his antics. They generally find him wise, amusing, and whimsical – though none are as enamoured as Brenda. These actors should all bring a positive vibe, eclectic looks, and flesh out the world of our office even more. If Mr. Performance and Brenda both live and breath this office, they’re… fine with all of it. Mrs. Performance: Think female Ted Lasso’s endless positivity, quirky wisdom and team-first spirit, mixed with a straight, dry, hyper-intelligence and ability to deliver insightful tidbits in a funny way. She’d never talk down to you. Always wants the best for you. Delivers advice with charm and without ego. She’s strangely practical and gets around the office on scooter (because of course she does).
