While the world labels Jaylen as “difficult” or “non-compliant,” Eric recognizes his extraordinary artistic gift. His teaching style is patient, open, and emotionally intelligent.
Eric becomes a quiet hero in Jaylen’s life—not by saving him, but by seeing him. He’s the first adult (outside of Madeline) who truly understands Jaylen’s world, and he uses art as the bridge. Eric’s influence helps set into motion Jaylen’s recognition by the art community.
