About the Job

Historical composite of a young University Student enrolled in UF in 1959 accused of homosexuality. Must pass for early 20s / college age. At the time, homosexuality was practically a death sentence with not only criminal implications but disqualification from jobs, social shunning, etc. This is a story about queer identity so we would prefer a queer voice, or someone who can relate to feeling immense pressure being stuck in the closet, to bring his character to life. No nudity. But comfortable removing the shirt and same-sex kissing.
