Casting Calls - Craig Boon

Craig Boon

Dad Drought - Short Film

Los Angeles

About the Job

LOGLINE: An ill-fated lunch gets spicy after a resentful loner is tricked into reconnecting with his estranged father.

CRAIG: (60-70 yrs) A teen dad turned deadbeat in denial. Craig often prioritized his own youthful exuberance over his son's needs. Now older, he longs for Luke's companionship but is too much of a boomer to admit his faults and seek it out.

He's a townie through and through. Only leaves his hometown for golf outings with his buddies or church trips with his wife. Prides himself on his knowledge of local customs and the various meat-related discounts his sedentary lifestyle has earned him around town.

Looking for a really great actor who can handle comedy and drams.

Celeb prototype: Kevin Nealon, David Pasquesi, Gary Cole
