About the Job
We are casting the lead role for an emotionally intense and introspective psychological horror film from an experienced indie team (4th feature). The story centers on a grieving widow whose isolation in a remote mountain town blurs the lines between reality, psychosis, and something more sinister.
We are seeking:
A powerful dramatic actress with strong emotional range and presence
Ideally bilingual (English + Eastern European language)
Eastern European descent preferred, but not required
Ability to convey inner turmoil with subtlety and restraint
Comfortable working on location in rural California (Posey, CA – approx. 3 hrs from LA)
Filming dates: Late June (exact dates TBA)
This is a grounded, character-driven film with psychological depth and atmospheric horror elements. Performance is key. All travel, lodging, and meals provided.
